Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ParcelDeed collects, uses, and shares information when you use parceldeed.com and our subscription services.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, business name, and a password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects payment information directly. We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use the service, including pages visited, features accessed, searches and queries performed, and session duration. This data helps us improve the product and identify and resolve problems.
Device and log data. Our servers automatically log technical information including IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, referring URLs, and access timestamps. This information is used for security, analytics, and troubleshooting.
Cookies. The service uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, analytics, and remembering your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent some features from working correctly.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
With service providers. We rely on third-party services to operate the platform, including Stripe (payment processing), Google Workspace (email and collaboration), and hosting and analytics providers. These providers have access only to information needed to perform their functions on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
With legal authorities. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ParcelDeed, our users, or others.
In a business transaction. If ParcelDeed is acquired, merges with, or sells assets to another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide reasonable notice if such a change affects how your information is handled.
Data security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After you cancel, we may retain certain information for up to seven years to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or to defend against legal claims. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your account information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at josh@parceldeed.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to request a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
Marketing communications
If you opt in to receive marketing emails (such as the ParcelDeed newsletter), you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by contacting us directly. We will still send transactional and account-related messages necessary to operate the service.

The service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

The service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
